Hello everyone!
 I just read this book today! Can you believe it?
I think if I ask anyone they will for sure said that they had read it long time ago... HaHa
 I bought it a long time ago but I'm afraid to open and read it as I read the reviews from all over the world - it's a good book!
So I'm afraid if I read this I might not find another great book
LOL... that is sure a great loss for me 😅
 So I mustered up my courage, waking up this morning, going straight ahead to my bookshelf, and reach for The Little Prince

You are in my hand now...huahaaahaahahaa... 👿
 It such a sad story, I cried at the end... 😢
 However there are lots of thing that the Little Prince teach me about the life

The story initially is about a pilot who is deserted in the dessert (can you get it ?? ...)

While he is repairing his plane, one day he was found by this boy know as the Prince asking him to draw a sheep

From there their friendship began

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

 We are all once a child, born as a child
As we grew older, the imagination fades
We are too drowned in our hectic, busy lifestyle and demands
We rarely find happiness and the true meaning behind everything

We lived our life no different than a robot

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As the Little Prince travelling from his planet to another planet until he reaches the Earth, he met some character along the journey

1. THE KING

- He is The King on his planet that is so small that it is covered up by his robe alone

- He is someone that rule everything, giving orders to everyone

- Everyone and everything must obey at any cost of all his command

- But if others unable to obey the command, it is not them to be blame, it is The King to be blame

- as The King said : it is he who are not giving a reasonable command that making it impossible to obey

- So A King must be a REASONABLE ONE

2. THE CONCEITED MAN

- He is one proud man

- He lives for admiration

- He sees everything and everyone as his admirer

- Everything he did, he did it with expectation of people's admiration

3. THE TIPPLER

- He is a drunk

- There the Little Prince can see that there are some empty bottles scattering around

- Why he drinks? Because he wants to forget his problem

- What is his problem? That he is an alcoholic and he is ashamed of it

- So by his logic, he drinks

- but really, it doesn't solve the problem. Agree?

4. THE BUSINESSMAN

- He only concern about the matter of consequence

- He keeps account of everything, adding on to his wealth and his treasure

- The feeling of ownership is important, it makes him feel rich

- He even busy counting the stars and claimed the stars is his, because he believed that nobody had done of what he did, so he claimed it to himself, even though he not even able to touch it, he just make an account of it

5. THE LAMP LIGHTER

- He was given a one absolute order; that is to lit the lamp in the evening and turn it off in the morning

- Well this seems absurd as he lives alone in the planet that is so small no other creatures on it

- But for distant planet, it may looks like a star

- His job has meaning for others, as indication for others to start working during the day and rest during the night

- Even though he is tired and feeling lazy wanted to rest, he keeps on continue his work as even though it seems absurd, it has meaning to others

6. THE GEOGRAPHER

- He is someone who is the expert on mountains, rocks, sands,sea, river and so on

- However they only confined to their desk and data

- The one that providing them the data is the explorer/traveler, only them that seeing the nature by their own eyes

- So it is important to receive information from a trusted traveler/explorer

- As long as it has no proof, Geographer will only write in by pencil not by permanent ink as it is a subject to change later on

and after that, The Little Prince arrived to the planet Earth.....

On Earth, he met quite a number of things and life; snake, dessert, plant, roses, railway, the fox, the pilot and etc

 and....
my favorite part is when he meet The Fox 

The Fox teaches The Little Prince an important thing about the life

'It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;as what's essential is the invisible one'

'It is the time you have wasted for your rose that make your rose is important to you'

'You are responsible forever for what you have tamed'
 ......... in the end 'what is important is the invisible'

All these phrases hit me hard in my face

Yes, it is so true that the most important is not seen by the naked eye, only seen by the heart, a good not selfish heart

This is so related to our life as we all tend to judge and the things on the outside only

We don't want to be like THE  BUSINESSMAN, who caught up in matter of consequence, wealth and treasure

We don't want to be like THE CONCEITED MAN who lived for others contentment and praises

We don't want to live like THE TIPPLER who keeps on drinking to escape his problem but not facing it and find the solution

Be an EXPLORER, a TRAVELER who sees the great things that life have to offer

Please don't be like a GEOGRAPHER. It is a great loss when not to travel the world

But if we are destined to be like THE LAMP LIGHTER, don't ever think that your job is absurd as it is actually has meaning to others

And so if you are THE KING to your family, to a company, to an organisation or even to yourself, be REASONABLE

The ending of this book? it is rather sad....

Go get yourself a copy then read it until the end

All of this is just my reflection on my self, my current life and situation

I love to read a great book. It has been sometimes since I had moment like this
